This semester Scott got to work with a lot of metals. He was able to work with two other classmates to create this chess set:
I think it's beautiful! It ALMOST makes me want to play with him... ;)

He also was able to work with two other classmates to design a bike frame. He explained to others that they were basically recreating "the" bike frame, if that makes sense. They did a pretty amazing job! So they designed all of the shiny metal parts on the actual frame and the red part by the pedals.

I think it's pretty amazing. He was also able to purchase both of these projects from the school. So he will get to keep his precious work :D

Here is an update on our garden: :D

This weekend we were able to go to Terreton to visit Uncle Stan. We had lunch with him and went on a tour of the farm. Our tour guides were Dan, Scott and Alex :).

This is my favorite picture. Pretty amazing!

In all his visits to his grandparents dairy farm Scott never knew that under all the manure was actually cement. haha.

Scott moo-ing

Patty found a dead potty.

the poo pit!

Scott being a tour guide :) (he was showing me where the heifer pins used to be)

I almost died before taking this picture. A bird came flying out of the doorway right into where I was standing. I moved just in time! Man, I think I may have a fear of birds now...

And a post on our blog would not be complete without an update on Big T. He is still growing, still sometimes pooping, and still sleeping :)

Oh, and he really likes his uncle Alex :)

Yay for adventures and amazing husbands!!

No, I'm not talking about basketball :) This month has gone by so fast for us! Here are some recent updates:
Yesterday we celebrated my birthday with lots of food and a good deal of family :)
Scott smashed Oreo for my birthday ice cream. I chose to have vanilla custard with oreo and brownie bites. YUM!

Dan, Patty, Scott, Alex (Scott's brother) and I had my birthday lunch yesterday. We had fat sandwiches! YUM yet again :D They were homemade so obviously they weren't as greasy or full as the real deal but they still reminded me of the grease trucks we visited on our honeymoon.

We will be celebrating a little more tonight too. Woot woot for being one year wiser! :D

Scott has recently become amazed with my ability to open my mouth...

since, in comparison, he can barely open his. :D

Patty, Dan and I began our efforts to have a garden this summer. On Monday we planted seeds in these planters. Good times!

We will have a plethora of fruits and veggies, yipee!

The pictures below demonstrate why Scott has really become amazed with my ability to open my mouth...

Yes, I do believe that is disgusting...but amazing all at the same time.
A few weeks ago we had a double date with Dan and Patty. We had ice cream sundaes with LOTS of toppings...man...I take a lot of pictures of food...

Yay, non-food pictures! Big T, our fatty lizard, is still keeping us entertained...as best he can at least.

Doesn't he just look like a dragon! We think so anyways... :)
Happy days to you! Maybe I'll update this more than once a month in April...don't get your hopes up though...haha.

So now that I'm working full time in Idaho Falls in the mornings and afternoons and Scott works part time in Idaho Falls in the evenings we decided to get a second vehicle. So we bought Charlie. He is perfect for us!

He was bought from an AMAZING company in Vernal, UT. He was loved there and is now loved here in the frozen icy land of Idaho. Emily let my dad (the owner of the amazing company) park Charlie at her apartment in Salt Lake to save us some time. We drove down there and visited with her a little before taking Charlie home. Dan and Patty helped us get him here and even helped us welcome him to Idaho by singing the Idaho state song as we crossed the border from Utah.

He has spent most of his time this week in our driveway, awaiting Scott (who has picked up on manual driving very well even with his limited schedule). Cassie is too afraid to drive him on the icy roads since his tail end may want to be chased by his front end. He still loves her though and looks forward to her time with him in the spring, summer and fall.

We spent a lot of our President's day afternoon giving Charlie a nice home in our icy driveway. Dan even came over and helped us find our driveway under all the ice. The end is still covered but Scott did manage to dig out the storm drain so all that water now has a place to go once the weather cooperates. (This is really nothing compared to years past.)

It was so nice of Dan to come and help us, considering that his driveway is still covered with ice...very thick ice...

(this is a picture of the pathway between our apartments and the amount of ice on this path is similar to the amount on he and Patty's gravel driveway.)

We love having Charlie and are SO excited for all the adventures to come!!!!!!!!
