For those of you who are new to our blog, Cassie does speak portuguese but our title is not a different language. Near the beginning of our posts she wanted to do something a little different to make people laugh and when she put the pictures on the site they all ended up backwards...so there is where she was inspired. We now always put our titles backwards to make it more excitable to read :).
We have been very blessed these past few months. We are lucky to spend a good bit of time together during the week. More than we ever will in the future (after college) probably. Cassie is working for Journey's in Rigby. She works with developmentally disabled adults and has been assigned to work with three of them here in Rexburg. She plans activities to do with them in the community and is really enjoying herself. She gets home a little later on Monday and Tuesday but the rest of the week she is normally home by three, the same time Scott gets out of his classes on MWF. Since Cassie has the car during the day Scott worked out a deal with his brother Dan and now has a bike to ride to classes. It is a little easier to ride around town than his mountain bike so it has been nice. Since the weather has been a little warmer lately the snow has been melting thus leaving Scott with wet pants...hehe...so he went to Bill's Bike Shop in Idaho Falls last weekend and got himself a fender (if anyone is confused as to what a fender is you can feel free to contact Scott's sister Becky...or look at the picture below).
considering how geeky fender's are in the biking world, Scott is actually pretty proud to show off his snazzy, un-geeky, fender :)
It even has an extension for those super drippy wet days ;)
Scott and Cassie have been saving up their shopping list and yesterday made plans to go get it all at Winco. It was a successful shopping trip and is a great idea! They were able to get good deals considering the amount of things they needed. It was a very fun trip, mostly because of the company of course.
They had planned their Winco shopping trip around their desire to use some of the gift cards they had received from friends and family for the Olive Garden. Once they left Winco Cassie realized that she had not only forgotten the shopping list for Winco at home (they were successful in remembering what had been on it for the most part) but that she also forgot the very important gift certificates. :( booooo! So they went to Super Wal-mart and looked for a desk (more info on that below)and came back to Rexburg and just got some Burger King instead. (thus the look of pain on Cassie's face.)

Cassie has really been enjoying having a semester off from homework and school. She does have her job to keep her busy...and a husband to feed... but feels like she gets to enjoy life more. She loves to read and has been going to the library a lot with the three girls she is working with. While they play on the computer or look at books, Cassie takes advantage of the location and gets some books for herself.
At this point in time Cassie is reading: Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone
Specials by Scott Westerfield
Eragon
The Host by Stephanie Meyer
Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke
and As the Ward Turns by Joni Hilton
She is not sure why but for years now she has really enjoyed reading multiple books at the same time...not at the same minute of course, that is impossible! But during the day she will pick up each book and read a chapter or two. She is loving having this extra time to enjoy these great books.
They are finally moved in! Scott and Cassie did find the kind of "desk" they were looking for. They wanted something that was long enough that they could both work on it and something that Cassie could scrapbook on. They found a great deal and now are situated and OUT of the kitchen :) Horray! Cassie is very excited to have more counter space :)
Yay for happy times and being lucky!
This is our wonderful life.
