Scott and I went to Vernal this past weekend to visit my family. We realized (with help from my sisters) that the weekend we were planning to come was actually Easter! What a happy surprise. Nothing like some good chocolate without having to pay for it ;) THANKS MOM AND DAD!
The easter bunny did a good job at hiding our candy this year...
He makes us 'work' for our sugar high :)
Scott even had to reach high, we used his height to our advantage many a time. :)
We also got to spend some time with our adorable nephew, Mayson. He loved playing on this ball. Those are his feet after flipping over the top...
And this is his face after regaining his balance :) he thought he was pretty funny.
We girls had funny painting the easter eggs with Mayson. Ben even came to help a little later.
Meagan got really creative and speckled the eggs with a sponge and paint. She fits in our family so well like that.
Mayson was also a big fan of his mom using the paint. He took advantage of the paint she put on his plate.
Somehow Tina's hand was mistaken for an egg...
One evening we had everyone over for some hot dogs and good stuff. They turned on Tarzan for Mayson to watch and he got a huge kick out of it. He absolutley LOVES the part of the movie with baby Tarzan. He thought we were all laughing with him during that part but we were all laughing at him. This is him turning to me to "laugh with me."
Dad made us an amazing fire for our weiners...it was so amazing that you could get first degree burns standing any closer than those shown in this picture...haha.
Tim got pretty creative in his way of keeping the heat away so he could cook his food in comfort.
Ben was overwhelmed by the flash on my camera.
That night we played phase 10.
The game started with seven of us...
And three of us endured to the end! haha. Everyone else either got sick of the game or was too tired to play.
As I packed up the last of my belonging that had accidently been left at home (I hope I really got it all) Scott and Ben and Hallie played with the lite brite. haha.
Aren't they amazing artists?!
We had so much fun and we are so blessed to have such great families! Yay for happy times.
I understand the joy of a new table!! Sooo... when do you graduate? What are your future plans? Maybe you should email me and we can catch up that way... I started cosmetology school... CRAZY... don't tell mark
