On Friday we got up and went to help mom and dad at the shop. Hallie and I went to John’s and cleaned for him since we were using his house for a baby shower the next day. I got to organize a lot of his shelves and enjoyed myself J.  We also stripped aluminum for dad, I got some pretty awesome bruises from being all rough and tough J We stopped helping when Hallie started bleeding randomly without realizing what she had done. Haha. We girls went over to Tim and Lindsey’s to see them. Sophee got a haircut from Aunt Tina and also decided that she loves me without me needing to bribe her at all! Woot! J Tim had warned me to not be offended if she screamed when I held her because she doesn’t like strangers but she was just fine, I think it helps that I look like the rest of my family! Or she could probably just tell that I’m her favorite aunt, some esp or something ;)
Check out those long hairy patches! :)

Lindsey was pretty sad to see Soph's hair go
I think they should have left it like this ;)

Mommy and baby are pretty stinkin' cute huh? I can't get over how much Sophee looks like her Mom and Dad!

We also went to the high school that night for Relay for Life. John was there for Wal-Mart.  It was so beautiful! It was nice to think of those who have touched my life and have suffered from cancer. I’m grateful for each one of them!
At the Relay for Life, I love Hal and John's faces. haha.

My trip started at 4:00am Thursday the 31st. Scott and I got up and got ready. We left our house around 5:00am and I got into Vernal at 8:30pm. LONG day! Haha. Scott was so kind to take me into Seattle and was able to make it into work without being late-woot! Aunt Lori picked me up at the airport and took me to Dad, who had been in Salt Lake picking up freight for work. We drove down to Vernal, just the two of us. It was so nice to be with Dad one on one. We had some uplifting talks and I just love my dad! :D Tina, Hallie, and Timmy met us at the shop to unload freight and then me and the girls headed out to have adventures. We grabbed some glow sticks and made our way to the high school tennis courts. We covered the balls in glow-ness and had some fun times trying to play a game of tennis in the dark. Afterwards we ran through the sprinklers. It was a fun way to start off a vacation
Can you see the red glow-ness on the ball? :)

We're all wet!

We have a few bunnies that live in our bushes. This week we saw them a lot :) Aren't they cute?? (Only one is pictured, the other is just a little chubbier)
Teancum has been enjoying his new outside cage. We took him outside yesterday and he was really enjoying himself!

Doesn't he look adorable? You know he does, Mom. ;)

We are loving it here and are so glad that our lizard likes it here too! :D

Yesterday we went and got materials to plant our little garden. We aren't sure how well things will grow/not get eaten by wildlife so we are keeping it small this year. We have snap peas, pole beans, oregano, and wild onion(?) (the last two I got from a parent at work and I'm not sure what to do with )
Scott took some of the materials and made Teancum an outdoor cage. He's been wanting to do this for awhile so it was fun to actually get to do it.

My boys enjoying some nice weather :)

We think Teancum likes Washington :)

This week the flower bushes on our street started blooming. I LOVE how green and beautiful it is out here! This is looking down the road from our mailbox.

This is a zoomed in picture of flower bushes.
And this is the flower bush outside of our living room window. You can see all the stages of the beautiful flower :)
On Friday after I got off work Scott and I had an adventure trying to find the Seattle Pet store in Everett (the city to the south of us). We realized about 15 minutes into our adventure that we should have brought the Frongners for good luck. haha. We missed our exit, so we turned around at the next exit down. We took the number exit that google told us to, but now going the wrong way and since we have such 'awesome' luck we ended up on a one way highway without a chance of turning the way we needed to go. We ended up having to go about 5 minutes in the wrong direction, all the while chasing the clock since the store was closing at 7:00pm. We got turned around and ended up getting to the pet store with a few minutes to spare, hooray! Our luck didn't end there though. We went down to see this particular store because they had recently got a tegu (our next future lizard) and we wanted to meet one. When we got in the store we looked everywhere at all the cool reptiles but saw no tegu. I finally asked where the tegu was and was told that they had sold it earlier that same day. Man oh man, I seriously can't get over how much bad luck we have when we leave our little city on our own! haha! Marysville does love us though, which sometimes makes up for it :)
Yesterday we went on a hike behind our house. Scott had been back there exploring for the last few weeks and was itching to show me all the cool stuff.
It's so crazy to me that this is our back yard! It's full of green-ness and moss and is just BEAUTIFUL!
I was trying to get a picture of the spikes on this, a lot of the plants had spikes and I got punctured a few times. Scott gets stung all the time with the nettles that are like the plague back there. I didn't manage to get stung though, thank goodness. :)
this is Scott pointing to the trail he has started making with very little manual labor. He mostly has just been riding on it to make the trail.
He did make this berm and is so proud of it :) He also fell on his head here a while back because his tire dug into the berm too much, it was too soft for his manly biking skills!
Again, just CRAZY that all this is behind our house!
Check out all that moss!
I found a patch of these flowers, they reminded me of our Rexburg home. We had a plant of them in the front of our house by the driveway :)
The moment Scott was waiting for... showing me this stream and...
sitting on this TREE with me :) (see more of the tree below). We had a romantic little time in our nook in the woods.

This little guy even joined us...don't worry, Scott got it off him before he was attacked by the cuteness/armour

So this is our Tree bench. You can't really tell but what Scott is standing on is one of three main trunks. The other trunks grew nice and tall but this one wanted to make a bench of itself :) Behind Scott is where the tree decided to stop being a bench and become a tree again. It's the coolest thing EVER!
We had a great weekend and are really enjoying the beauty of Washington :)
