So now that I'm working full time in Idaho Falls in the mornings and afternoons and Scott works part time in Idaho Falls in the evenings we decided to get a second vehicle. So we bought Charlie. He is perfect for us!

He was bought from an AMAZING company in Vernal, UT. He was loved there and is now loved here in the frozen icy land of Idaho. Emily let my dad (the owner of the amazing company) park Charlie at her apartment in Salt Lake to save us some time. We drove down there and visited with her a little before taking Charlie home. Dan and Patty helped us get him here and even helped us welcome him to Idaho by singing the Idaho state song as we crossed the border from Utah.

He has spent most of his time this week in our driveway, awaiting Scott (who has picked up on manual driving very well even with his limited schedule). Cassie is too afraid to drive him on the icy roads since his tail end may want to be chased by his front end. He still loves her though and looks forward to her time with him in the spring, summer and fall.

We spent a lot of our President's day afternoon giving Charlie a nice home in our icy driveway. Dan even came over and helped us find our driveway under all the ice. The end is still covered but Scott did manage to dig out the storm drain so all that water now has a place to go once the weather cooperates. (This is really nothing compared to years past.)

It was so nice of Dan to come and help us, considering that his driveway is still covered with ice...very thick ice...

(this is a picture of the pathway between our apartments and the amount of ice on this path is similar to the amount on he and Patty's gravel driveway.)

We love having Charlie and are SO excited for all the adventures to come!!!!!!!!

  1. Looks like a nice truck! Tyler and I have enjoyed having a truck. We like that we can tow things and help other people move...and Tyler says it makes him feel like a man. :)
