A few weeks ago I REALLY wanted to go fly a kite! So we got together with Alex (Scott's brother), Dan, and Patty and made kites. The boys made a kite together using a garbage bag and dowels.
Patty and I made bumblebee kites from thick paper.
Then we went up by the temple to fly them together.
The bumblebee sort of worked...enough for me to be happy at least :)
The guys kite took more work to get up into the air and was a little dangerous as it would come down...
and it was cold...this is a picture of Scott shivering :D
and here is the take off...or landing...they were pretty much one in the same.
So, in my biased opinion-THE BUMBLEBEE WINS! :D
